After spending recent months producing for artists like Open Mike Eagle & Michael Christmas, Nolan The Ninja debuts a brand new solo single.
The new track “daffodil”, produced by underground staple Quelle Chris, displays the Chicago-based emcee / producer effortlessly free-flowing while touching on personal views about hip-hop, current events & more. “Rap is weird, show me where the exit, I’m just a decent man like Kyle Bethel”, he raps. The intro of the track also starts with Nolan proudly stating, “f*ck ICE, free Palestine”.
The Detroit-raised artist has said that “daffodil” came together very naturally. “I was heading to Jamaica for a summer vacation when I spoke to Quelle about beats”, he says. “Quelle & I have collaborated several times over the years so it was nothing for us to get something going”, he continues.
