Cardboard People shares new single ‘Just A Girl’ from their upcoming album “Depeche Soul //.” The Bay Area duo still receiving praise from last year’s album, “Tigress Lane”, and has more to give.

Cardboard People consists of powerhouse vocalist/performer Yunoka Berry and record producer Jim Greer. They have created a special alchemy of sound and performance that dabbles in deep songwriting, big energy and well-crafted pop. And ‘Just A Girl’ is just a preview of what we can expect from their newest album.

“Depeche Soul //” is the second entry to their “Depeche Soul” series. It’s a combination of electronic music with organic roots (a la Depeche Mode) and Yunoka’s barn-storming vocals. This album will also explore themes of humanity mingling with machines. Like the AI revolution and controversial news funneling through screens at everybody, all at once, all the time. You’ll have to wait til the release of “Depeche Soul //” on Monday, October 27 to experience the album.
