Toronto-based artist Jeen started busking in the music industry at the age of sixteen. Jeen and her band were scooped up and managed by the team of Canadian jazz musician, Jeff Healey, for the half decade that followed. After two subsequent albums, Jeen was invited to share lead singing and songwriting duties on Brendan Canning’s (Broken Social Scene) Cookie Duster album, “When Flying Was Easy.”
It was not too long after when Jeen dropped her last name and released four solo albums garnering regular radio rotation and acclaim from NPR, Billboard and Buzznet to name a few.
Jeen’s newest single ‘Don’t Wait’ features vocals from Ian Blurton who also co-produced and co-wrote the track. The song offers shimmering guitars, driving rhythm, and an anthemic alt-rock chorus.
